What is GIGABOOST.AI?

GIGABOOST.AI is an AI-powered investor acquisition system built for startup founders and capital raisers. The platform connects issuers to a database of 340,412+ verified investors and automates the entire acquisition workflow: AI targeting, personalized outreach, pitch deck review, financial modeling, and CRM pipeline management — all in one place.

  • Geography (US state, country, or global)
  • Regulation type (Reg-D 506(b)/506(c), Reg-CF, Reg-A+, international)
  • Thesis and sector keywords

The database is enriched continuously and synced weekly with SEC EDGAR Form D filings.

Investor Targeting

How does AI investor targeting work?

When you create a raise profile, the AI evaluates every investor in the database against 25+ scoring signals, including:

  • Thesis keyword overlap with your sector and business model
  • Preferred investment stage vs. your current stage
  • Check size range vs. your raise amount
  • Geographic focus vs. your company's location
  • Regulation type compatibility (506b, 506c, CF, A+)
  • Recent portfolio activity and co-investment patterns

Investors are ranked from highest to lowest fit score. You see your top matches first, so every credit you spend targets the highest-probability prospects.

What is investor-company thesis fit?

Thesis fit measures how closely an investor's stated mandate — sector focus, stage preference, business model type, and geography — aligns with your specific raise.

Thesis fit matters more than outreach volume: a cold email to a thesis-matched investor achieves a 22–34% open rate and an 8–12% reply rate, whereas a warm introduction to a wrong-fit investor converts at under 3% reply rate. Targeting the right 50 investors consistently outperforms blasting 5,000 mismatched contacts.

Can I filter investors by Regulation type?

Yes. The investor database supports filtering by:

  • Reg-D 506(b) — no general solicitation; up to 35 non-accredited investors allowed
  • Reg-D 506(c) — general solicitation permitted; all investors must be verified accredited
  • Reg-CF — raises up to $5M from accredited and non-accredited investors via registered intermediary
  • Reg-A+ — raises up to $75M from the general public
  • International equivalent structures

The SEC maintains the official framework for all U.S. securities exemptions.

What is an accredited investor?

Under SEC Rule 501 of Regulation D, an individual qualifies as an accredited investor if they meet at least one of these criteria:

  • Annual income exceeding $200,000 in each of the two most recent years (or $300,000 combined with a spouse or spousal equivalent), with a reasonable expectation of the same in the current year
  • Net worth exceeding $1,000,000, excluding the value of the primary residence, either individually or with a spouse/spousal equivalent
  • Certain professional certifications (Series 7, 65, or 82 license holders) or "knowledgeable employees" of private funds

Entities such as trusts, LLCs, and corporations may qualify separately. See the full definition at SEC.gov.

How often is the investor database updated?

Investor records are enriched on a rolling basis. Specifically, GIGABOOST.AI syncs SEC EDGAR Form D filings on a weekly cadence. This means investors who have recently filed or participated in a new Reg-D private placement appear as active prospects in your targeting results, rather than stale records from years-old filings.

Outreach & Campaigns

Do emails go from GIGABOOST.AI's domain or mine?

All outreach emails are sent through your own SMTP server and your own sending domain. GIGABOOST.AI does not use shared IP pools or shared sending domains. Because mail originates from your authenticated domain — with properly configured SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records — messages land in the recipient's primary inbox rather than spam or promotions folders.

What is the average reply rate for investor outreach?

Thesis-matched outreach sent through GIGABOOST.AI achieves an average open rate of 22–34% and a reply rate of 8–12%. For comparison, the industry benchmark for generic cold email to investor lists is 1–4% open rate and under 1% reply rate. The difference is driven by thesis-fit scoring, AI-personalized copy, and LinkedIn warming.

How many outreach campaigns can I run?

Both the Quarterly ($7,000/quarter) and Annual ($20,000/year) plans include 3 active campaigns at any time. Each campaign supports multi-step email sequences with configurable wait intervals. AI credits are consumed at 1 credit per investor scored; monthly credits reset each billing cycle, while purchased bundle credits stack and never expire.

Does GIGABOOST.AI send emails automatically or do I approve each one?

Every email draft generated by the AI requires your explicit approval before it is sent. You review the personalized copy, edit if needed, and then approve the send. GIGABOOST.AI does not dispatch any outreach autonomously. You remain in full control of every communication that leaves your account.

What is LinkedIn warming?

LinkedIn warming is an AI-assisted pre-outreach sequence in which GIGABOOST.AI generates personalized comments, reactions, and connection request messages that you send to target investors on LinkedIn before your cold email sequence begins. Investors who have encountered your name on LinkedIn prior to receiving a cold email convert at approximately 4× the rate of pure cold outreach, because you shift from being an unknown sender to a recognizable contact.

Compliance & Regulations

Is GIGABOOST.AI compliant with SEC regulations?

GIGABOOST.AI is a software platform — it is not a registered broker-dealer, registered investment adviser, or funding portal. Issuers and capital raisers remain fully responsible for their own securities law compliance, including all obligations under Regulation D, Regulation CF, or Regulation A+ as administered by the SEC.

If you are conducting a Regulation D 506(c) offering involving general solicitation, you should consult a licensed securities attorney or work with a registered broker-dealer. You can verify broker-dealer and representative registrations on FINRA BrokerCheck.

What is Regulation D 506(c)?

Regulation D Rule 506(c) is an SEC exemption from full securities registration that permits issuers to engage in general solicitation and advertising when raising capital, provided that:

  • All purchasers are verified accredited investors
  • The issuer takes reasonable steps to verify accredited status (e.g., tax returns, bank statements, third-party verification letter)
  • A Form D is filed with the SEC within 15 days of the first sale

There is no cap on the raise amount under 506(c). Recent Reg-D filings on EDGAR provide market context on active issuers.

What is Regulation CF?

Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF) allows companies to raise up to $5,000,000 in a 12-month period from both accredited and non-accredited investors, provided the offering is conducted through an SEC-registered intermediary (a registered broker-dealer or an SEC-registered funding portal). Individual investment limits apply based on investor income and net worth. Issuers must file a Form C with the SEC before launching a Reg CF campaign.

What is Regulation A+?

Regulation A+ is an SEC exemption that permits companies to raise capital from the general public without a full registration statement. It has two tiers:

  • Tier 1: raises up to $20,000,000 in a 12-month period; subject to state "Blue Sky" review
  • Tier 2: raises up to $75,000,000 in a 12-month period; preempts state review but requires ongoing SEC reporting (annual, semi-annual, and current event reports)

Unlike Regulation D, Reg A+ offerings can be marketed broadly to non-accredited investors. See official rules at SEC.gov.

Do I need a broker-dealer to use GIGABOOST.AI?

No broker-dealer registration is required to use the GIGABOOST.AI software. The platform is a technology tool, not a registered broker-dealer or investment adviser.

However, if you are conducting a securities offering — particularly a Regulation D 506(c) offering involving general solicitation of accredited investors — you should consult a licensed securities attorney or engage a registered broker-dealer to ensure compliance with applicable law. FINRA maintains a public registry of all registered broker-dealers and their representatives.

Pricing & Billing

Is there a free trial?

GIGABOOST.AI no longer offers a $1 trial. Sign up free to get 5 AI investor matches and evaluate fit, then activate Quarterly ($2,333/month effective) or Annual ($1,667/month effective) to unlock the full platform. Custom plans require booking a call. Cancel any time from account settings — no fees.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. There is no long-term contract on either the Quarterly or Annual plan. Cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle and you retain full access until that date. No early-termination fees apply.

Are there credit bundles for additional investor matches?

Yes. Additional credits are available for purchase at any time at the following rates:

  • 200 credits — $150 ($0.75/credit)
  • 500 credits — $300 ($0.60/credit)
  • 1,000 credits — $500 ($0.50/credit)
  • 2,500 credits — $1,000 ($0.40/credit)

Purchased credits never expire and stack on top of your monthly plan allowance. Monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle; bundle credits do not.

What is a credit?

One credit equals one investor fully scored by the AI against your raise profile — covering thesis fit, stage alignment, check size range, geographic preference, and regulation type. Each score takes into account 25+ data signals per investor record.

Monthly credits included in your plan reset at the start of each billing cycle. Credits purchased in bundles stack on top of monthly credits and never expire.

Is there a referral program?

Yes. GIGABOOST.AI pays $1,000 per successful referral. A referral is counted as successful when the person you referred completes their first payment of $7,000 (Quarterly) or $20,000 (Annual). The $1,000 bonus is paid 30 days after that payment clears, via Stripe Connect or Wise transfer. There is no cap on the number of referrals you can earn.
